my first foray into elements

I needed a new challenge to keep my mind occupied, so I decided to try making some digiscrapping elements. Yes, they are crap, but I've never done this before, so please be nice! LOL I have recently become enamoured with frames, so I made this one last night. I used free paper shapers from Atomic Cupcake to make it look like a stamp. I'm also really into the pink and brown colour combo lately. ;) The frame is in .png format and is free to use however you wish.

I stumbled upon a wonderful blog the other day, called The Ephemeral Victorian! She has free resources for making digital papers and elements (please note: her resources must only be used for FREE kits and personal use!!), you can find the blog HERE. I took a stab at making a ribbon this morning using her ribbon template. I'm not crazy about the colour I used, but I still can't figure out how to get it the exact colour I want it. It is also in .png format and is free to use.

Leave some luv folks!

My brother's pets

I got these really cool kits for cats and dogs the other day from Mellissa at Scrappy Expressions (Yahoo group). They were perfect for my brother's and (soon-to-be) sister-in-law's dog and cat.

Finally! A new layout!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I recently got this kit, called AngelBoy, and just had to make a layout with it of my son on his third birthday. I love this pic of him, he has such a beautiful smile! I may be a little prejudiced though. ;)

ETA: I finally found the site this kit came from!! You can find it HERE
